Dowrog Common

Late this afternoon Paul's merlin was on a telegraph pole on the Dowrog and a female sparrowhawk flew over followed by 3 ravens. At the construction site for the new Lifeboat Station it was amusing to see the crane lifting some workmen from the bottom of the cliffs back up to the site in a small cage around which a curious gull (probably herring) was flying. Subsequently at Whitesands, a flock of at least 20 very vocal pied wagtails flew from the back of the car park onto the stones at the front
