From the Boat Club at 8am I had a pleasant surprise to see 31 Lapwing standing on treath mawr. Sailing down river were c50 Wigeon, a Greenshank & 2 Little Egrets were feeding in the lower water, 2 Kingfishers landed on one of the small boats, 3 Dunlin were feeding along the waters edge and a group of c45 Linnets were flitting around the saltmarsh.
