The wind swung NW for a short time first thing this morning and was still touching gale force so I went for a quick seawatch and it was a very productive couple of hours. A juv Sabine's gull, a Leach's petrel, a juv pom skua, a Balearic shearwater, a bonxie and 2 late Manxies the highlights plus 12 gannets.
Also today the first fieldfare of the year and a woodcock
