Diurnal Barn Owl

Returning from a dismal Marloes Mere, I came upon the Barn Owl that`s been crossing my path for the past few weeks between Winterton & Mullock Bridge. This afternoon it was hunting by the old bridge at Mullock from 3.00pm to 3.45pm before moving off  towards Pete & Rosemary`s house. Nice to see it in good light & close - pity the camera didn`t reproduce the beautiful golden upper parts
