Llys-y-fran and Rosebush Reservoirs
Morning visit to Llys-y-fran, as I approached around 8.30am most of the larger gulls were lifting off the water and dispersing with a fairly even split east and west. Lots of the BH Gulls seemed to move northwards and I passed them later in fields just south of Maenclochog. Of the 100 or so that remained on the water most were BH with 5 Common Gulls and an adult Yellow-legged Gull. 7 Great crested Grebe with one pair displaying. No sign of any duck at the very top. Rosebush Res: 7 Tufties (3m,4f), 5 Goldeneye (3m,2f). Red Kite south of Maenclochog and a female Merlin near Wallis.
