A couple of Wheatears today, including the first female. A Chiffchaff, (they've been singing at Sealyham and Heathfield this week). An extremely handsome male Merlin was the best thing. Lots of Stonechats as usual but I've been noticing them on farmland too, suggesting that the recent, good breeding season/s have triggered an expansion into sub-prime habitat.
