A bright, sunny morning with a light easterly breeze this morning which had brought in quite a few migrants. Yesterday evening with a brisk North wind at the Deer Park I had managed just 2 Wheatears but this morning there were 9 Wheatears around the headland and in the garden of Rath Cottage 3 Whitethroats, 4 Blackcaps (3 male, 1 female), a few Willow Warblers and a female Pied Flycatcher. Also 2 more Whitethoat in the Gorse near the lookout.
