Where do they go?

Herring Gull Blue 496, at Newport yesterday, was ringed as a youngster at Gloucester landfill in Oct 2006, was seen at Newport (by Richard Dobbins) in Sept 08, back in Gloucs in Jan 09, then disappeared till yesterday - 6 1/2 years.
