Ramsey

No sign of wryneck today - it was here yesterday. Marsh harrier seen yesterday, red kite the highlight of today. Good hirundine passage again this morning. Swallows peaked at 2,772/hr (for at least 3 hours), sand martins at 1,068/hr and house martins at 498/hr. Chaffinches were moving south for first time this autumn along with small numbers of siskins. 2 male blackcaps were new in as were 2 grey wagtails and 2 white wagtails. 2 blue tits and 2 great tits have taken up residency in the garden. Robins are annoyingly chasing most things away as usual!
