From John Freeman - I spent a couple of hrs at the Gann this morning, arrived just before
high water. Good views of waders on the beach side, 25+ Dunlin, 12
Ringed Plover, 8 Turnstone and 4 Knot. This little group was busily
feeding on the tideline and were very approachable. On the pools, 25+
Curlew, 3 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 3 Greenshank and several Redshank.
On the footpath, 4 Wheatear.
