There have been hundreds of Black-headed Gulls around the Teifi estuary and in flooded fields up beyond Llechryd Bridge in the last few days.
Yesterday
there were 3 Mediterranean Gulls with them by the Webley Hotel, two with colour
rings. I have already received details of 3NPT, a 1st winter ringed as a
pullus on De Kreupel Island, Noord-Holland on 26/06/2015. Since
ringing, the only other sighting was in Earlham Park Norwich on 30th
October.
More ringed gulls to find I'm sure once it is possible to hold the scope still after this storm ! You can look up the scheme and report them on European colour ring birding
