A large influx of Black-headed Gulls at Angle Bay this morning, with a conservative estimate of c.2700 on the Rhoscrowther shore, with c.300 Common Gulls and at least four Mediterranean Gulls (3 ads and 1 2nd CY). Relatively few larger gulls present, with only c.30 Herring Gulls and a small number of LBB Gulls and GBB Gulls. Other birds present included 39 Light-bellied Brent Geese, a small number of Wigeon (most seem to have left the site during the gales last week) and two Little Egrets.
