Pied Flycatchers - Ffynone

A visit to Ffynone Wood today to check the nest boxes. One male Pied Flycatcher was singing near the waterfall and another was fly catching near the dam.

Two pairs of Grey Wagtails were busy feeding young, finding plenty of insects despite the hail.
A Tawny Owl was peeking out of the usual nest hole and 2 Dippers were by the waterfall.
