Marloes area

Quick look this morning. The lone male Garganey flew around before dropping in out from Oriole Hide. A Cormorant flew in and dropped onto south irrigation channel (for one brief minute I thought it was going to be a long over due Glossy...). A Redshank flying around. Pretty quiet on walk over to Deer Park, just couple of Whimbrel flying around. Bumped into Dave perhaps he'll have more news? Michael in NT car park showed me a photo of pair of Swans with 7 cygnets crossing the road this morning H'west side of the road down to Slate Mill lodge. Wonder what the Marloes mere pair will produce?
Red kite over Cardigan Road, H'west and another or same at Spittal this afternoon.
