All fairly quiet on the Teifi, though following a few days of Common Terns feeding we now have the more regular Sandwich Terns. Currently 2/3 Sandwich Terns seen feeding or roosting on mooring buoys on every visit. Up to 8 Gannets feeding off Poppit beach this evening too, perhaps signs of a good season ahead for fish, seabirds and Bottlenosed Dolphins....
Waders on Poppit this morning, 14 Ringed Plover, 12 Dunlin and 3 Sanderling. This evening a lonely lost looking Black-headed Gull on the Poppit tideline.
