Wood Warblers - Ffynone

After reading Paddy's and Mike's posts about Wood Warblers, I was thrilled to find two singing in Ffynone woods this morning. They were close to the path just past the cottage.  Despite many previous visits in spring to check the Pied Flycatcher nest boxes I have never heard them there before.

Two pairs of Pied Flycatchers were nest building and there were two other singing males. A male Redstart was singing too.
A Tawny Owlet was just visible in the a hole in the usual dead tree by the bench along the path to the waterfall.
