Plenty of birds at Kilpaison this morning with several hundred Wigeon crowded along the shore line. Also 10 Brents, 95 Oystercatchers, 39 Curlew, 42 Bar Tailed Godwits, 6 Grey Plovers, 3 Knot and 6 Little Egrets.
After a gap of several weeks a juvenile Little Stint was again present. Just 20 Dunlin and 4 Ringed Plover and, unusually for this site, a lone Snipe. (Martin Davey reports 3 Curlew Sandpipers with the Dunlin after I left).
At Angle Harbour on the shingle spit there were 15 Dunlin, 4 Ringed Plover, 22 Redshank and 30 Oystercatchers.
