A 1st winter
Yellow-legged Gull was the highlight of a look through a reasonable sized gull flock on the beach this morning. I went down again this afternoon, a big change in terms of gulls with only 5 Herring Gulls present. A very nice surprise was a
Velvet Scoter flying east through the bay towards Amroth, it eventually came to land on the sea about half way between the two beaches. A flock of 44 Oystercatcher on the beach was notable and the largest gathering I've seen down there.
