Teifi waders

Like The Gann, there were a lot of small waders around the Teifi estuary today.
Minimum count of Ringed Plover and Dunlin at 7am was 500 split between Poppit beach and the sand banks in the middle of the estuary.
Also there were 2 summer plumage Turnstone and 2 Grey Plover.
A steady movement of Swallows north across the bay and 6 Swifts. 50 Manx Shearwaters passed close to the Cliff Hotel headland.
Another look at 5pm found a similar number of Dunlin and Ringed Plover around the estuary. Also 12 Whimbrel, 2 Bar-tailed Godwit, 1 Turnstone and a different Grey Plover - this one in smart summer plumage. 12 Gannets were feeding close in.
