Corncrake Last Saturday

From David Briers - Last Saturday (26th) I heard the unmistakeable call of a corncrake in rough pasture near Bwlchygroes (SN 231355).  The double rasping call was repeated every few seconds for about 20 minutes around mid-day, but I could not see the source.
