St Davids Head am

An interesting morning with some obvious movement including 200 Chaffinches and a few Skylarks, I noted about 50 Song Thrushes grounded but clearly there were many more. There were a few different things too: 5 Bullfinches (in 2 groups) were very unusual and a House Sparrow was possibly a first for me out there. A Short-eared Owl flew over high and north and 2 Red Kites to the south-west. There were a couple of Mistle Thrushes, 3 Reed Buntings and the Little Owl was back on its favoured wall. There were 2 Merlins hunting, a sub-adult male and a female. It was lively.
