Dartford Warbler St Davids

I noted from Twitter that a Dartford Warbler was on the Gower a few days ago and it reminded me of a recent conversation with Bob Haycock where we wondered what happened to the local birds in winter. Then today Kathy and I came across a very bright male at St Davids and so a partial answer to the question is that some stay put. Of course this sets off a series of further questions such as what proportion stay? Where do the others go?  and How does the weather influence things? Answers on a postcard. Merlin also present and another at Porth Clais yesterday.
