A juvenile Glaucous Gull was preening and roosting on a middle sandbank from 4pm today.
This follows an adult Yellow-legged Gull yesterday and a juvenile Iceland Gull seen on at least 2 days earlier in the week.
Herring Gull (yellow Y:G73) was also briefly roosting at The Webley -

Y:G73 was ringed on 30th June 2017 at Harewood Whin Landfill site, York. The gulls feed on the Landfill
site during the day and roost on the floods in Lower Derwent Valley National
Nature Reserve or on the Humber Estuary. The gull has also been seen at Scarborough on 1st August 2017.
With high tide early to mid afternoon over the next couple of days, late afternoon gull watching could be interesting....
