Teifi birds

The first Sanderling appeared today after this afternoon's high tide joining the c60 Dunlin and the c60 Redshank that prefer to feed and roost opposite St. Dogmael's Quay this season. Three Turnstone below the Cliff Hotel - thanks Jon G were also first of the year.
Red-throated Diver and Great Crested Grebe in the bay.
Back on territory today our closest pair of Chough. Two Med Gulls were best of the gulls this evening, but could this be the first winter for years without a Bittern on the marshes....?
Arfon W. and Eddie O'Conner spent some time around the Teifi yesterday, good birds included Goshawk and Water Pipit.
