Adrian had his best night of the winter for Woodcock flying from their daytime roost with 8 this evening from his Goodwick site. Our visits to our regular Woodcock monitoring fields are finding lower than usual numbers this winter. The Russians did make a post breeding statement discussing a poor breeding season for the Woodcock.
Still good numbers of Redshank and Dunlin on the Teifi with c50 of each this afternoon.
