Out west... poss Tristis

Been a few weeks since I visited Marloes and the Gann. Very quiet on walk out to Martins Haven. Fields very quiet. A smallish grey goose flying with the Canadas towards Skomer, but distant and largely silhouetted. Good to see the Pintail survived the recent run-in with the Harrier.
Gann was similarly quiet, single Med among the small gull roost. Managed a better look at the Chiffchaff that's been around all winter. Looks very like a poss Tristis. Tobacco stained ear coverts, hint of pale bar on greater coverts, generally lacking in greens and yellow. Responded instantly when I played Tristis call allowing a quick photo. Definitely worth a look as it's so accessible.
