The Teifi & North Pembs

Birds are moving, a few pre WeBS counts from wanderings this afternoon.
51 Shelduck, could be our best Spring, as they continue to arrive. 140 Lapwing on the mud along with our high count of Redshank - 52 today. 43 Dunlin at The Webley with a low count of Ringed Plover - only 8 today. A poor Winter for Divers, one Red-throated just beyond the surf.

6 Great Crested Grebes in Fishguard Harbour this morning.

Woodcock -- Adrian had a low count of 3 this evening, and last night a survey across our Boncath site found only 1. A very low count, maybe birds have moved lower with the recent snow...
Both Redwings and Fieldfares were roosting on the sheep pasture fields last night, maybe moving birds too...
