We watched the Water Pipit just after high tide at the usual location at the Boat Builders. The Common Sandpiper was on the river in town usually favouring the shore near the Indian Restaurant.
Knot, and Greenshank amongst the c50 Redshank, and a few Ringed Plover with c50 Dunlin.
Golden Plover and Lapwing are widely scattered around the estuary, a peak count yesterday of c250 Goldies in just one field.
Of general interest, 98 Barnacle Geese on Cardigan Island,
......and Northern Wheatear in Lancashire, Garganey in Hampshire...today !
