Meadow Pipit

I found this apparently freshly dead Meadow Pipit today in our old army pump house, inside a flower pot. We never see Meadow Pipits here in the vicinity of the garden, only on the coastal fields and on the beach down at the Gann so it was a real surprise. The snow must have driven it off the open country and it was forced to seek shelter inside a building.
