Teifi news

Like Fishguard yesterday, Pintail on The Teifi were an unusual sight today. Four were briefly on the Webley saltmarsh.

As the tide fell , many more waders than usual dropped in to feed including 7 Grey Plover, 5 Knot, 23 Bar-tailed Godwit, 28 Ringed Plover and over 200 Dunlin.
Lapwing and Goldie numbers were down on yesterday when there were even Golden Plovers on the front lawns of the houses along Poppit road.
There was a Red-throated Diver and a Great-crested Grebe out in the bay and a Shoveler on Kingfisher pond on the Teifi Marsh.
