This morning, standing at Mullock Bridge I could hear more than 5 Sedge Warblers singing their frantic ditties and I could see most of them too, which was a treat. Also a Cetti's Warbler about 50 metres up from the bridge in a blackthorn clump. This is a new site - there has been a territory further up the valley for several years, near a small potato reservoir and I have heard a bird singing from there all spring so this could be a second territory in the valley.
Two very large Wheatears at the Gann earlier (one of which was sat on the stone cairn which always looks as though it should have a Wheatear on top!) and just one Whimbrel.
