Chiffchaff most numerous, with birds everywhere you looked, even out in open grassland. About 20 Blackcap on my walk. 10 White wagtails and dozen Wheatear, inc a couple of big, peachy coloured birds, by entrance to West Hook farm. The drake Pintail still on the mere. Beautiful evening.
