Lovely day, so off to the Preseli's to see if any Cuckoos were about. Along the Crymych rd from Rosebush right into Crymych, we heard five separate males and one female, we saw 2 males. Very few skylarks or mipits, no Whinchat (we had hoped for one, but maybe we were a little early?) 2 red Kites, and a smattering of more common birds, but considering the fine conditions, we didn't hear much, no Willow Warblers or Chiffchaffs, not even a Wheatear. Super day out though and really nice to hear Cuckoos in multiple numbers. We were also fortunate enough to get to see the Green Heron yesterday too.
