This evening a lovely flock of 49 Whimbrel and 2 Bar-tailed Godwits feeding riverside on the marshes and a surprise to see 8 Goosander which presumably are non-breeders....
A large number of Sedge Warblers on the marsh all day with early morning ringing producing 114 Sedge Warblers by 830am.
