Curlew numbers noted to be building up along Carew River on Wedns/Thurs (when setting up and checking moth traps with Robin Taylor at West Williamston nature reserve). At least 70-100 observed most likely roosting at New Shipping Point area. A very fine (European and not Asian) hornet was a nice surprise in one of the light-traps - an insect we've not seen previously in Pembs.
