Having to stop for oncoming traffic before going down the narrow lane to Sandyhaven chapel I looked up to see a large white Gull passing over me, I grabbed my camera but couldn't get on it so as soon as the traffic cleared I shot up the lane that leads to Hasguard Cross in hot pursuit it then headed West & sailed out of sight, I pulled into a gateway a few yards further on & had a scan but it vanished. It looked the first Winter birds we see but obviously now it would be 1cy or approaching 2nd Winter. I'll have a wander down the Gann & see if it's there
