Additional visits this afternoon and this evening found the following, 4 Knot, 7 Redshank, 1 Black-tailed Godwit, 9 Sanderling, 140 Dunlin and an impressive 116 Ringed Plover. Most birds feeding on the Poppit strand line strewn with fresh seaweed or the Webley saltmarsh.
On the marsh we now have 4 Coot - a site record for recent times....?
