Yellow wagtails, St Ann's Head

Dozen Yellow wagtails in the last field in front of the old lighthouse. I did a couple of sweeps around the field and had 7 birds fly from right to left and a few metres on another 5 did the same. They always kept close to the herd of cows, who are very docile and allowed me to wander in and around them. Also about 25 Pied wags. And loads of Linnet, single biggest flock c 200 (possibly double that between Kete and St Ann's) with a Kestrel keeping an eye on them. Last light and high tide at the Gann, a Green sandpiper top of the pools, 18 Redshank, 6 Ringed plover, singles of Turnstone, Greenshank and Dunlin. 100 Curlew came off the flooding marsh as light went.
