Buff-breasted Sandpipers - Dale airfield

I guess some words and photos from Dave later, but some notes from Ian.

Arrived Dale Airfield 9am.
13 ringed plover and 3 dunlin at Western crossroads. From about 9.30 good passage east of Swallows, flying fast. c100 visible on airfield scan at any instant.  Leaving at 10:17 and the 3 Bb's flew around that first field on left and disappeared off in direction of the "wader runway" but not seen after they crossed bank and stayed low.  I turned around and headed again for crossroads and upon nearing, Dave called to say Lisa had sighted them coming from the coast back into the same field, where they are all still wary;  but photos now obtained.
