Migrant Warbler totals for species ringed over the last 2 days near the River View Point on the Reserve. Blackcap 48, Chiffchaff 13, Reed 8, Sedge 3, Garden 1, Willow 2, Whitethroat 1, along with 2 Goldcrest.
More Teal arrived today with 20 on the river from the Viewpoint and 8 in off the sea, 1 r h Goosander on the river as usual and the 4 Coot are still mobile around the marsh pools.
A Green Sandpiper is usually seen and heard every visit as it moves according to the tide, and Snipe similar. Only brief looks at the small wader flock today, it will be well watched tomorrow but c100 Dunlin and 60 Ringed Plover.
