Two Baird's Sandpipers, The Gann

Following the news from Rich and Rich of Johns discovery I hightailed down to the Gann. Unfortunately the only flock of small waders was very distant, 100m away on the waters edge. However I bumped into visiting photographer Steve Windle so we had a good chat for over an hour while we waited for the tide to rise. Amazingly among the first three waders to move onto the high tide mark, almost at our feet, was the Baird's. As Steve and I rattled off some photos we realised there were infact TWO Baird's, the other was a Dunlin. Map link.
