Cracking afternoon visiting a few spots around Dale and Marloes with Paul G. 10 Greenland
White-fronted geese in grassy field adjacent to eastern runway. Looked like 7 adults 3 first years. Two of which were sporting orange neck collars
CD7 and
XJ7. Numbers of Skylark in the stubble fields. A Peregrine flushing all the corvids and starlings as it made a pass. The four
Whoopers were on the pools at the Gann earlier but had flown up to the airfield stubbles by the time we left. 2 female
Pintails at Marloes Mere and a
Short-eared owl hunting over the barley field near Runwayskiln cafe at last light was a nice way to finish.
