Whooper Swan

A lone bird flew over me at the Gann this morning, circled above the  river & then headed towards Dale airfield, I felt it was one of the "Four" that was looking for it`s mates so I drove up to the airfield only to see it flying away. I then went back to the Gann to find it on the river mouth, I could see it looking skyward so I can only guess it`s somehow become separated & it`s either ahead of the rest expecting them to return or it is lost & looking for them. I`ll have another look later.
