At least two calling YBWs in Sycamores by the stone bridge this morning. A brief view of what looked like a Reed Warbler up by the sewage works gate was frustrating. Lots of common birds on the move as well with tens of thousands of Starling working their way west along the north coast of St Davids peninsula - 1000+ in one field at Mathry with 40 Golden Plover. Also large numbers of Skylarks (1000s) and Meadow Pipits. A single Wheatear at Porthgain. A few Reed Buntings also appeared on the move as well as Blue Tits which i saw at new locations. Similarly a Great Spotted Woodpecker on a telegraph pole at Strumble lighthouse.
