From Clare Ryland - Male goosander at the
bridge in Newport yesterday afternoon (circa 13.00) along with 3+ little
grebes, 1 little egret, a buzzard and a red kite.
In amongst large numbers of chaffinches (40+) at home (Dinas) under the
feeders one male brambling. Also a flock of circa 30 redwing in the
fields adjacent.
