Angle

A full day spent birding and exploring the Angle Peninsula.

Nothing of note to report from a brief stop at Pembroke Millpond but then had a decent day coming and going from Angle Bay as the tide slowly receded. Highlights; Over 500 Wigeon, 27 Brent Goose, drake Pintail, 8 Shoveler, 4 Shelduck, 2 Bar-tailed Godwit, 5 Grey Plover, 2 Sanderling and a Common Gull among the oystercatchers, redshank, dunlin, ringed plover and curlew.

Added a couple of Greenshank and Little Egret in Angle Harbour and a single Grey Plover and 30 Lapwing at Freshwater West.

Thanks to my guide for the magical mystery tour, great company and the cracking photos.
