Monkstone Point

A nice afternoon at Monkstone Point. The plan was to look for wintering Purple Sandpipers. Eventually I found 2 feeding just apart from 5 Turnstones. Lots of activity offshore including 9 Eider (5 first winter males and 4 females) just off the rocks. Also a Great Northern Diver a bit further out, 3 Great Crested Grebes and 3 Red-breasted Mergansers.
