The Cattle Egret was showing well mid morning on the river edge opposite St.Dogmael's Quay and the wintering Common Sandpiper was on the river behind the old Jewsons today. c1000 Lapwings are still roosting in the estuary, and we have a regular flock of 6 Black-tailed Godwits (and one Bar-tailed Godwit yesterday). One or two Med Gulls always around - no larger white-winged Gulls yet this winter.
