Marloes Peninsula

Nice to get out for a walk this afternoon with a few signs of arrival as well. A striking Continental-type male Stonechat was the most interesting, showing a lot of white and sporting large white covert patches. It seemed to be mimicking a Coal tit at times! I'll pop a few distant photos on when I get a chance.
17 Wheatear on the walk to the Deer Park, majority in the rough pasture just before Martins Haven and a singing bird by a usual nest site. Flock of 50 Meadow pipit moving around the same area. Dozen Chiffchaff and 3 Goldcrest feeding in the willows around the mere.
