Plumstone

A blustery but sunny morning, had 3-4 Yellowhammers in song. A Ringtail Hen harrier was flushed and then returned to hunt over the heathland. A probable Jack snipe came from under my feet and dropped back before I could raise my binoculars. Also Kestrel, Red kite, Redpoll and a few Redwing in the forestry. Despite a thorough search no sign of the shrike and nice to see Dave Evans who was also having a look.
